30 guest chefs, 15 distinguished speakers and as many as 20 Split restaurants where four hands dinners will be prepared by the guest chefs together with the hosting chefs. There is a lot of new events, new partners. The figures themselves show that this is an extraordinary edition in honor of the 10th birthday of TTM Festival and the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of The Croatian Mediterranean Diet in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage
This year’s Festival surpassed all previous editions. As the organizers, we were also surprised by the response of chefs and other guests from abroad and Croatia. We are sorry for all those we could not include, but they will certainly join us in the future. We gathered a great team and we are sure that the visitors will enjoy the richness and the variety of the programme.
Our host this year is the newly opened Hotel Ambasador. With its beauty and its extremely attractive location, it proved to be an ideal place for the central festival events. We will organize there the welcome party, two exclusive dinners, various panels and special workshops.
But we will also move to some other locations in the city. In the legendary, renovated cafe Central, in the Boutique Hotel Santa Lucia on Split’s Pjaca, there will be several interesting presentations and discussions, as well as a four-hands dinner. We chose the Puppet Theater for the presentation of the picture book for kids The Sea is my best Friend, by the Swedish author Lasse Auberg, while the book Divlji pjat (A wild plate) by the students of the Hospitality school in Bol (Brač) will be presented in Prokultura – observatory of cultural policies. This year, more than ever, we devoted ourselves to the education of the hospitality students and professional chefs. In 3 days, 15 masterclasses of top foreign and domestic chefs will be held at the Oliva Allegra school, the private high school of tourism and hospitality Wallner. The masterclasses will be free for the students.
And finally, we will soon publish the schedule of the four hands dinners in Split’s restaurants participating in the Festival.
