Gligora dairy from Kolan of Pag once again won the gold medal at the prestigious World Cheese Awards 2015, which is recently held in Birmingham in the UK. This is the fourth time that the Gligora triumphed at the world competition, this time taking a medal in the category for the best cheese in Central and Eastern Europe; “Best Central and Eastern European cheese”.
Competing with 2,727 cheese producers from 25 countries, they fought for their place under the sun. An expert jury consisted of 250 judges from 22 countries. The Swiss Le Gruyere was the absolute winner.
