Chefs Matthew Peters and Harrison Turone from the celebrated restaurant Per Se secured them a victory. Second place went to Norway while Icelanders celebrated bronze. The jury was thrilled with their performance on the plate that revolved around chicken stuffed with mushrooms, foie gras and cancer and 100% vegan food prepared by the California Asparagus with cream of roasted almonds.
