Georgia Koutsoukou

A passionate and multilingual culinary professional, gastronomy tutor, and consultant, dedicated to elevating Mediterranean cuisine on the global stage, chef Georgia Koutsoukou was born and raised in Kalamata, Greece, and formally educatd in Rome. From curating seasonal concepts for Michelin-starred establishments to pairing traditional Greek retsina in the heart of Asia, her international career is defined by authenticity, innovation, and an unwavering respect for the Mediterranean terroir. From Sicily to  Tokyo and Seoul, where she pioneered innovative pairing concepts featuring Greek Retsina and regional artisanal products, she is always promoting the versatility of the Mediterranean flavours. In the meantime she led many culinary presentations on the Mediterranean Diet at the University of Barcelona and the Gastronomy Academy of Barcelona. Chef Georgia Koutsoukou is a regular guest chef at major national and international food festivals, showcasing regional Greek gastronomy and custom concepts, such as the "Doner Tailor-Made" culinary project.

As a gastronomy tutor she is educating the next generation of chefs, conducting professional master classes, and consulting for restaurants internationally on menu development, sourcing, and storytelling. Mediterranean Diet, sustainable gastronomy, and culinary heritage are her main topics. The formal training in professional multilingual communication and the Degree in Culinary Arts (IEK, Greece) turned her lifelong passion for gastronomy into her core professional path. “I am known in the culinary world as the Soul Chef.
