Zvonimir Marijanović, Ph.D., is senior lecturer at the Department of Food Technology at University of Applied Sciences “Marko Marulić” in Knin. Zvonimir graduated in 2006 at the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Split, orientation Chemistry and Technology of Mediterranean cultures. In November of 2006, Zvonimir got the award for the best student work in chemistry on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of our Nobel Prize winner Vladimir Prelog.
Zvonimir defended his doctoral thesis entitled Application of ultrasonic solvent extraction and microextraction top vapour to solid phase characterisation of honey. Zvonimir lectures organic chemistry, procedures and equipment in finalization of herbs, knowledge of food and raw materials in the food industry. Field of Dr. Marijanović’s research includes testing of volatile compounds in honey, herbs and aromatic plants of the Mediterranean.
