Antonino De Lorenzo

Prof. Antonino De Lorenzo, M.D., Ph.D., is the professor of Food and Human Nutrition at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, as well as the Director of the School for Specialisation in Food Science of the same University. Prof. De Lorenzo was the coordinator of many international projects related to the influence of nutrition on human health. He published more than 200 articles in the most important international scientific magazines. President of the National Institute for the Mediterranean Diet and Nutrigenomics, prof. De Lorenzo dedicated his research to the sustainibility of the biologic agriculture in relation to its economical and environmental aspects, as well as its impact on human health.
