Split- Dalmatia County has supported Taste the Mediterranean
We thank to the Split-Dalmatia County for joining the institutional partners (there are also the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board and the City of Split Tourist Board) who recognized the value of the Taste the Mediterranean Festival and supported the event held in Split from 7 to 11 October 2020.
The city of Split would be and will remain the center of events of the international festival dedicated to Mediterranean culture, gastronomy, products and wine, but the festival program will also be held in other county destinations. Despite the epidemiological situation, but also in accordance to all health precautions, this year we also dedicated one day to the island of Šolta. Many foreign and domestic guests of the Taste the Mediterranean Festival enjoyed the Mediterranean atmosphere of Maslenica and the delicacies of the Martinis Marchi restaurant.
The main goal of the Festival is to present and promote Split and Split-Dalmatia County as a leading gastronomic Mediterranean destination to foreign and domestic lovers of Mediterranean culture, good food and good wine and to encourage tourism outside the main season.
Exchange of experiences with other Mediterranean countries, performances of top foreign and Croatian chefs, education of young people, are the main guidelines of the Festival, which is committed to the promotion and sustainability of tourism.
