Pastry chef Tea Mamut
Tea Mamut is the first Croatian pastry chef holding a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York City. Since a very young age, she has always dreamt of this career. She knew exactly what she wanted: a top education that would enable her to master the modern pastry techniques. By opening her own pastry shop O’š kolač in her hometown of Split in May 2017, the young Tea’s dream came true. She has created a place where she can share her passion for desserts with everyone who can’t resist the sweet temptations.
O’š kolač offers home-made cakes and pastries in a modern interpretation of familiar flavours combined with new ingredients. They are signature cakes whose local character is reflected both in traditional Dalmatian ingredients and their imaginative names, such as Čikolata, Tonka, Slatko o’mendula, Šinjorina Malina…
Tea’s pastry shop Oš kolač has been elected the best POP 2018 by the Croatian edition of the prestigious restaurant guide Gault&Millau.
