Pastry chef Keiko Nagae

After graduating from law school in Tokyo, her love for pastry led Keiko Nagae to enroll at the Cordon Bleu School in Paris. Immediately after finishing the school, chef Nagae started working in the famous Parisian pastry shop Ladurée.

She collaborated with Pierre Gagnaire in 2002 at the opening of the Sketch restaurant in London. Upon her return to France, she continued to work as a pastry chef in famous Parisian restaurants, and in 2012 she started her own company – AROME, which deals with consulting in pastry, training chefs, creating recipes and organizing the opening of pastry shops.

Chef Nagae is focused on making healthy desserts, using fruit and, citrus as well as the Japanese presentation art.
