Les Nanas de la Food Sphere- women and love for cooking and good food
“Les Nanas de la Food Sphere” (The girls from the Food Sphere) are a clear proof that women and love for cooking and good food make a successful combination with no boundaries.
It all started in 2018 when the French chef Flora Mikula decided to organize a dinner at the hotel Domaine de Raba that will bring together women in gastronomy of different origins. The idea was obvious – each one of them will prepare a traditional dish from her country.
It was a big success and they decided to repeat the experience in other places, such as the restaurant Monastrell in Alicante run by chef María José San Román. The Spanish chef is, together with Flora Mikula one of “Les Nanas”, as well as Beatriz Gonzales- chef of Mexican roots with a Parisian address, Keiko Nagae- pastry chef of Japanese roots and Georgiana Viou- French chef of Benin roots with an address in Marseille.
Their motive is to help people discover who they are, their personality and richness, and especially the love of cooking and good food. The concept has taken off, Les Nanas are in demand abroad, the association is increasing and they are happy to participate in various gastronomic events.
This year, at Taste the Mediterranean festival in Split, gathered around the Med Women Chefs initiative, they will prepare an exclusive dinner with chef Sandra Tahirović at restaurant Zora bila in Split.
