Competition of tomorrow’s chefs

8 chefs and their apprentices and students from different hospitality schools with their mentors will compete in an original competition that will be held at Prokurative square, on Saturday 8 October in the morning.

Contestants will have to come up with a creative dish using a surprise basket that they will receive 15 minutes before the competition itself. In those 15 minutes, the chefs and the mentors will help their young trainees and students to create a recipe, and after that, the future chefs will have to take care by themselves of the execution of the dish. The basket will contain various products provided by Tommy. Contestants will have one hour to prepare 5 portions of food for 5 members of the jury. According to the propositions of the competition, the jury will evaluate the presentation and the balance of the plate, the taste and the texture, the use of as many foods as possible from the basket, the creativity and the originality, and finally the waste management.

The jury will include famous chefs, gastronomic journalists, a representative of Tommy and a representative of Festival TTM. The names will be announced later.
