Chef Jeremy Girvan

The Belgium Food Mood presents chef Jeremy Girvan. Chef Jeremy Girvan is the founder of GJCOOK: fine dining at home and culinary school. Jeremy’s kitchen is purified and refined, flavors harmoniously developed, and as major influences he states his life, meetings, travel and his environment architecture. His cuisine is a story ful of rich flavors. “My creations are always based on two or three ingredients. Foods is the foundation and with the techniques I brings out the best from it. From one element I create different tastes, sensations and textures. The meals are natural-looking, but they are the result of the careful dealing with food, thinking and culinary techniques“, says chef Girvan for his kitchen.

Jeremy Girvan- GJ cook at the Taste the Mediterranean festival 2017, will present unique round leather placemats made especially for his food creations by NIYONA- Blegium design studio. In the desire to exchange an idea and realise a unique product, they created placemats created in a bovine collar leather with a vegetable tanning in Belgium. Moreover, the leather is soaked in a bath of tallow. This bring it a fat side and an additional resistance to the water, greases and possible spots.
