Chef Fabien Lefebvre, France
Chef Fabien Lefebvre has a long professional career and one of the highlights is the prestigious title of “Meilleur ouvrier de France” MOF (the best French worker) in the section kitchen. He also won the International Award Pierre Taittinger. Recently he was the executive Chef and responsible for the development of the group of hotels and restaurants LJHotels and co. In 2019 he opened the PICA PICA sharing restaurant which immediately obtained the Michelin Bip gourmand. Just before that chef Lefebvre was the Executive Chef of Eric Frechon Consulting, responsible for the design and implementation of the group’s restaurants menus and the development of new projects.
For more the 10 years he has had his own restaurant “Octopus” in Beziers, not far from the Mediterranean sea, with one Michelin * and a Gault&Millau score of 17/20. This was the period where he was awarded Great chef of tomorrow by Gault&Millau, “Best restaurant” by Fooding and “Best opening of the year” by Omnivore.
Today he shares his exceptional knowledge with younger colleagues and students.
